Experience the warmth and passion of flamenco in a family-like atmosphere. The organisation is led by the talented dancer and hostess María “la Serrana”, who also graces the stage with her presence. Her partner Antonio Moreno “Polito” (also a famous dancer) manages the special events.
In the tablao you will find Maria or another dancer/hostess alongside a special guest dancer, guitarist and singer. These artists will personally welcome you and will create an unforgettable flamenco evening
Our performance always features an internationally renowned special guest dancer. In addition to the dancing, musica and singing, we provide in-depth explanations about flamenco. the audience is encouraged to ask questions, making everyone feel like part of the experience

About
MARÍA “LA SERRANA”
Training Maria “La Serrana” started her flamenco training with great teachers such as Antonio Canales, Matilde Coral, Manolete, Manuela Carrasco, Carmelilla Montoya and Carmen Ledesma. She continued to renew herself with teachers with a more modern style such as Adela Campallo, Rafael Campallo and Antonio Molina “Choro”, who was a guest artist of her company for 8 years.
However, she owes her unique style of flamenco, her “stamp”, to the Farruco family and especially to Farruquito. It can be said that she is one of the values of this school, since she has studied daily with the Farrucos since 1999 for 9 years. In 1999 La Serrana opened the doors of her ‘tablao’ in Seville. Eversince she has taught classes both in Seville and abroad
In 2012 she founded tablao Flamenco Esencia, an intimate space where artists from Seville and abroad meet. At Flamenco Esencia she performs daily sharing the stage with the most famous artists in Seville. Her business partner Antonio Moreno “Polito” is in charge of organizing special events. He is also a guest artist on their tours since 2018.
